Crossroads Community Church is a church where people from various backgrounds have come together to be united under the mission, vision, and values of Crossroads. We choose to value mission, values and vision above denominational affiliation. It is our desire to see seekers become fully devoted followers of Christ through cell and celebration. We do, however, value associating with other like minded organizations to fulfill the Great Commission in the spirit of the Great Commandment.
Crossroads Community Church was started by Pastor Guy M. Caskey, his wife Kelli and their two children with nine other adults in the home of Michael and Janet Sweet in June of 1997.
This team was sent out by the Fellowship of Champions, an innovative church in Spring, Texas that is helping people win at Life. Guy Caskey was the associate Pastor at the Fellowship of Champions, and was mentored there by Charles Culpepper for 8 1/2 years before God lead him and his family to plant Crossroads Community Church.
From June 1997 to January 1998 the team crystallized the vision and recruited and developed the team further, and prepared to multiply its first groups. On January 18, 1998, Crossroads began its weekly services with 102 people in attendance. Crossroads has continued to grow day by day and develop as a visionary church for the 21st century!
